What exactly is the difference to a traditional fixed-term deposit?
With traditional fixed-term deposits, the money is saved at a bank. In return, the bank pays a corresponding interest rate. FestPlus, on the other hand, activates the yield strength of the bond market and thus scores with a higher average return and more flexibility. Whereas with a classic fixed-term deposit you have your money invested in a fixed amount at a bank, with FestPlus you invest your money in over 400 bonds at the same time, which increases the degree of diversification. As with all UnitPlus portfolios, FestPlus also counts as special assets and is therefore always protected against the insolvency of our partner bank or UnitPlus.
