Foreign currency costs

Foreign currency charges are the fees incurred when you pay with your bank card abroad or withdraw cash abroad. Most of the time, the local currency is used to calculate the costs, while the transaction amount is converted into your home currency. In addition, foreign currency fees may apply when you buy securities in a foreign currency.
