SRI

The abbreviation SRI stands for “Socially Responsible Investing.” An investment with SRI criteria deliberately excludes sectors such as the arms, tobacco, gambling, and coal industries.

An index checked against SRI criteria contains fewer companies than an original index, as unethical and environmentally harmful companies are excluded.
