How safe is my securities account?

Your securities account is held by Aion Bank. Aion Bank is a member of the deposit protection scheme, but the securities in your custody account are even better protected. They are not covered by the deposit protection scheme, but are protected as special assets in an unlimited amount (regardless of the currency of the financial instruments). The securities are held in custody by Aion Bank and are held by KBC BANK NV/SA, Belgium, as sub-custodian of Aion Bank, which protects them against our insolvency and the possible insolvency of our partners.
