What does counterparty risk mean?
Counterparty risk is the risk that the contracting party (counterparty) is unable to meet its contractual obligations, or can only meet them in part. In the case of CashPlus, the counterparty is Deutsche Bank. Therefore, if Deutsche Bank were to experience payment difficulties due to insolvency, it could happen that losses are incurred with CashPlus.
